There are so many different kinds of writing and so many ways to work that the only rule is this: do what works. Almost everything has been tried and found to succeed for somebody.     I’ve got 984 words tonight. I’m still plugging along on the same story.

    Still not happy with two main characters so I went back to the beginning and started revising them. Revised 65 pages and added another 197 words…30 more pages to revise then I’ll be back on track to start writing again.
