Cheryl, regarding naming characters. I saw a good suggestion for how to come up with a name. Write down the qualities you want the character to have and then look in a naming book for names that mean those qualities.

Yesterday was a very good day. I wrote 911 words and read it at my Tuesday group and they were blown away. Left me very motivated to go on. They couldn't believe I had just written it that afternoon.

1007 words tonight and I need a name for my hero. Mr. Nameless has gotten by so far without a proper name, but tomorrow he must have one, so that's my assignment.

I had a bad day at work today, tried to talk myself into coming home and being a couch potato - wanted to feel sorry for myself for a while - but instead I sat down at my computer and just started typing. Turned my bad day around! Wrote some good stuff today! 1073 words! Woo Hoo! Superstar!
