I skipped today but I have the house to myself tomorrow so will make up for it. Checked out the Home Expo and now I really need to win the lottery. I want the one with 6700 sq feet. A swimming pool that flows over one end to become a waterfall with torches burning on either side. The walk-out basement has a patio area with a bar in front of the waterfall. Oh and on the first floor level with the pool their is a pool house. One of the family rooms also opens up onto the pool level with walls that just slide back so it's open, if you want it to be. No pool boy though. Oh well.

Go Miss N! You rock. I write when I have the house to myself and the animals are all fed and let out. That time varies.

But tonight I'm proud to report 1104 new words. Yay! Okay, so really I should be doing 1800 today because I missed yesterday but I'm fine with the 1100.

It doesn't matter if you're happy with the babble or not. You can fix babble. You can't fix nothing.

Interview your character. Sometimes that helps me get in "their mood" and then I can write fast and furious. It also sometimes produces stuff I didn't know was there. Great stuff, in fact.

Here I am, the first to check in again. I always write at about the same time every night - between 5 and 7 pm - does everybody else stay up late at night to do their writing?
I got 1595 words in today, not happy with the babble I wrote though. Hopefully, tomorrow I'll be back in the groove. My characters are stalling, if I could write more from the villian's point of view I'd have 2000 words a day easily.
