Saturday Writers

≡ The Saturday Writer Girls

A.R. Miller
A.R. traded in her curling irons and shears for pen and paper at the urging of her husband. In 1995 it paid off with her first e-zine sale. Her short stories ranged from young adult to erotica, all with supernatural overtones. Currently she is working on her first novel combining things she knows, Iowa and cosmetology, with something she loves, fantasy.

Cheryl Corbin
Cheryl recently quit her job as project manager to write full-time. She’s working on a fantasy romance novella series with a scifi romance series and an urban fantasy YA series waiting anxiously for her to get to them. Follow her progress on her site.

C. Deanne Rowe
Reading Victoria Holt’s ‘The Shivering Sands’ was a life changing experience for Deanne. She decided she wanted to be a writer of Romance Novels. After marrying her high school sweetheart it became necessary to put her writing on hold while she raised her two children, but when she finally had some free time and extra money of her own she took a writing class meeting people who helped her believe she could actually be a writer. Writing is her second career that will carry her well into retirement.

Sara Ennis
Sara writes women’s fiction with a comedic tone. She is currently working on her second novel while she waits for the bidding war to begin for the first. Sara lives in an historical (sometimes hysterical) house near the river with her two dogs, two cats, and bird. Visit Sara’s website to check out more of her writing.

Malynda McCarrick
Malynda’s first experience with romantic fiction was in reading the Gothic Romances by such authors as Dorothy Eden, Phyllis Whitney and Victoria Holt. Being raised in a family of creative individuals, a lifetime of creative endeavors was predestined. While pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art, she found how much she enjoyed the process of writing research papers for various courses so, after graduation, she jumped right into writing and hopes to be published real soon. She enjoys reading authors such as Janet Evanovich, Jennifer Crusie, Lori Foster, and Linda Howard. She is still trying to find her niche but enjoys writing contemporary romance that is quirky, fun, and fast paced with twists and turns in the plot.
